FE Fog of war tiles? what does it do?
I turn it on and off and dont see anything different, what did we pay for?

standard and deluxe: only black tiles

How do you turn it off? I've been looking for a way to turn off the palace skin.

In the settings under gameplay at the bottom.

Yeah I turned off the Founders Edition gold fog of war tiles, they just look more distracting than anything else - I prefer that the tiles are all the same colour.
