How do you build bridges?

I'm sorry if it is a dumb question but I can't figure out how to build bridges in the Exploration age. I have the Tech already but I don't see a way to build bridges over rivers.

It’s a “building” that improves gold and allows your troops to cross. You need to unlock the technology first.

i think you can only build them in cities it takes up a river tile and give you gold income i don't think it is ageless though so i didn't build one.

yeah, it's a building that you place over a river (the game will tell you where you can place it) via the production menu like any building.

No wonder I couldn't see it, I thought you could build it everywhere. Thank you guys.

It will highlight the tile green if you can place it anywhere.

There aren't many spots that you can place a bridge. In my first game I built one bridge. Just for fun, not because I needed it.

I think there was a second bridge option later.
