No Fast Move, No Auto Explore, Too Many Decisions Each Turn
I've played a little longer and I have several gripes.

1) I find myself missing the fast movement option. The animations are nice, but after a while and after having many units it just becomes painful waiting for the animations to complete.
2) I am also missing auto explore options...it gets really tedious manually moving a scout so often especially in the early game.
3) Finally, there are so many pop ups each turn, many of them are meaningless. Each turn so many things are happening and so many things must be dealt with that it starts to fell like busy work and less like a civ game.

Of course the UI is terrible. I find myself wanting to just go back to Civ 4/5 the true masterpieces of the series.

Auto explore is a must!
Scouts do more than move. Use their actions.

Not realy.... you need to play a little bit to understand how bad autoexplore would be in this game.
scouts are crazy OP once you use mementos like "Imago Mundi" (+3 sight and +1 for scouting/watchtower)..... this is already a total sight range of 7 hexagons with watchtower. then there are policies too and more...
You scout the continent within a couple rounds and can use them to keep your borders watched pretty far ahead (so no suprise attacks possible)

Auto explore is never a good idea, AI does crap with your units. But yeah, we desperatly need fast move. It’s horribly slow.

Listen, I'm not micromanaging exploration. That was a pain in the tail. Just gimme autoexplore back. There was nothing broken with autoexplore.

Yes I've played the game a bit and scouts are great but after a while they are tedious. Setting up a watch tower can help though.

I will check this out...I did not know scouts had any special actions.

The game does a poor job of explaining things. I had a similar frustration with traders and understanding how to get them to function as well.

The search ability is great for exploring. And the lookout ability is just awesome for combat support. massive improvement.

I agree about the explaining things. The times I felt in the need for help, I went to the Civipedia and I found 10 words about what that unit/concept does (the same I can find in the tooltip) and 300 words about the history. So, it's seem more like a Lorepedia :D:D:D
