how to make a siege unit.. lol

Noob question and as the title says. How do I make this siege unit that's a mission for me? I am looking through my menu's and all I can make right now (still very early in to the play session_ is slingers, warriors, scout, settlers, and hazarapatis. Not seeing any buildings in my my menu's either that lead to these seige units. Obviously I am missing something and it's probably simple lol.
