clearly a rushed game
Rushed game in the hopes for 2k that many people will buy the founders edition, so they can get enough money before everyone really sees what a mess this game is. truly astonishing how nearly all AAA studios go this way in nearly scamming(or should i say THEY ARE SCAMMING) their costumers. i hope for all buyers that this is a lesson that you will remember....never preorder a game especially when they are overcharging the game and offering this advanced access crap

well its the new AAA standard and we as the costumers have to say NO! just dont buy crap like this and these so called AAA studios either learn their lesson or go bankrupt.
If I spent €129.99 right now, even though I would be entitled to some future DLCs, the dates they indicate do not guarantee that I will have access to a complete game. There will certainly be other DLCs after these dates that will no longer be included in these DLCs that guarantee free access, and from then on I will have to spend more. The game will end up costing perhaps more than €200, since the previous version costs €171, and it could take a year or two to get there, until we lose track of what we have already spent and what we have already paid for in the beginning , In the end we will pay more than €200 for a finished game that should cost €70 complete

I think of it this way... You know they say a company is too big to fail? In gaming it becomes too big to make a good game.
It's rushed for sure. Any sort of focus QA testing would have informed them that the UI is simply unacceptable for PC platform. It's like a basic thing that would have been easily noticed.
I usually have, by tradition, preordered games I absolutely love, like the Civ franchise, but this is the first time I got my refund long before 2/6, and that's because I followed threads, articles, and videos, and began seeing the writing on the wall a while ago. Not to mention the exorbitant price. I think the thing that REALLY did it for me as I began seeing the development of Civ 7 was how it was copycatting Humankind, which I got SUPER hyped about when it came out, only to be massively let down. So Firaxis has hired the Humankind devs, more or less, to bring something that was not good, and repackage it into Civ 7, at least that's how I view it.

To paraphrase the Civ IV leaders in the diplomacy screen: I'm adopting a wait-and-see approach to this game.
