The way you get nukes makes no sense

Ok, so you get the nukes you need get you Ideology score up, and to do that you need to be winning the war, which means the guy who gets the nuke doesn't really need it by the nature of how its handed out. So since its not tied to tech you can be the most advanced nation there is, but if your not taking city's your scientists just cant work it out lol

Nukes aren't needed, period. Simply because the game isn't complete.

There's no time to nuke people because at that point you need to end the game by completing Operation Ivy.

That'll change in the future.

I have to say I kind of agree that it makes no sense that the Manhattan project is completely divorced from the science/research...

The Manhattan project... you know... that thing where they rounded up all the country's best scientists and dropped them a lab in the middle of nowhere to research how to split the atom...

so lemme get this straight, modern age is gimped, theres no more new game plus, quick movement and combat is gone, and now nukes are pointless and extremely hard to get even late game?

I am definitely not buying this game. loved civ 5, played a good bit of civ 6, idk why I'd even remotely want to play civ 7
