Offline Play on LAN w/One Copy Possible

Title says it all:
1. Ensure both of your devices are on the same network
2. Have steam library set up on each device
3. Login to both devices with the account that purchased the game
4. Put both devices in steam "offline mode"
5. Start the game
6. Have one device host the LAN game (you will both appear as the same account name, only downside of doing this).
7. Other device joins via LAN
8. Enjoy

NOTE: Saves do work on LAN, make sure for the 2nd device starting the game you go to the game hub on steam for CIV 7 and change it from "connect" -> "on this device" and hit play (Steam will recognize that both devices are on the same network and think you're trying to stream the game on the 2nd device).
