multiplayer desynch/reload every turn?
anyone else having this issue? my friend loads in fine in like 30 seconds but i guess my computer chugs along and it can take a few minutes before i load in. having this happen every turn was getting frustrating. we tried saving and then reloading the game but same issue. does anyone know how to fix this? while i like single player the big draw for civ games for me is playing with friends so this is pretty frustrating

same fix for civ 6.
I do not even manage to load a MP game! Trying to play with my wife (she's using a steam deck) and while the steam deck is loading the game, my PC (the far bigger machine) CTDs every single time during initial loading. Single player is working perfectly fine, so what is the reason for this?

Update: choosing Vulkan over DX12 on both devices seems to have done the trick for me!

I have the exact same problem, the only way that we can do is close the ai slot, and play with only players.
using Vulkan worked!

Are either of you using any mod's or modified any of the game's files? I know this used to be a major cause of desynch in stellaris
I still have this problem even switching to Vulkan... Is it a wifi problem or something with the game itself? Had this problem since launch.

no mods used in my multi games. vulkan for the most part seemed to fix it. but still occurs on occassion

i think the game itself. had the same issues in civ 6 (dont remember if i had the issue in 5). 6 wasnt so bad because it was a quick load. but unfortunately my load times are ridiculous with 7 so it really messes gaming up. vulkan helped a good bit. we usually don't see the desynch issue until pretty late in the game now. i never found a permanent solution. hopefully you can work things out. sorry I'm not much help
