Alright so alot of complaints about the UI can we get some objectif feedback on the ai plz ?
Is it as bad as civ 6 ?

There is no AI here. Seriously. Just like in all the other parts before.

AI is terrible, really terrible. I can live this current UI, it's bad, but I can live with it. But AI, how in the current world, where AI is on the rising, CIV 7 have terrible AI. It's definitely worse than CIV 6, which is really sad. I like to play co-op with friends vs AI, on Civ 4-5-6, but this is just garbage :/ I hope that it will get better in future, but now it's bad, really bad

Don't know what maps, skill level etc the naysayers are using, but i am using the middle difficulty and the ai it's pretty tenacious, not overly chess master, but I'm fighting like 20 units with 8 or so, it's great fun, add in the storms, floods etc Saying the AI is terrible.. compared to what? A non 4x game? The ai is amazing, the diplomacy, everything is great, if it was better than it is, the naysayers would complain it was too hard.

AI is OK, it's more or less like it is in the older civ games so don't expect anything beyond that but I agree with the poster above, it can put up a pretty good fight for a while. Now, I'm an average player and make plenty of mistakes so my game-play is not optimal per say. That is my experience playing at difficulty level 4. I'll try level 5 in my next play-through.

Civ6 is the comparison or at least my comparison.

AI s barely there, it cant handle teh complexity of the game and gets massive bonus rewards to offset that but often still just doesn't use them

the age resets include massive rubber banding.
