Cannot conquer capital city // Kann die Hauptstadt nicht erobern

Hey Guys, i play a multiplayer game. I have a war, and my enemy has only his Capital left. I fought all his troops, but i cannot conquer the capital. I dropped the walls, my unit is inside the city, But the player is still alive and has that city... whats wrong? Bug or a feature i doesnt know? :) Many thakls in advance

Some wonders and unique buildings count as fortifications and also need to be siege and taken

I was confused in the first war I fought as to what was happening but it was because I had left some wonder standing that was counting as a city centre or something.

Sorry if that's not very clear, I'm still getting used to the mechanics myself
