Civilization I Was Better

This game took 402 steps backwards. The graphics are nice and it runs smooth but other than that I have nothing positive to say about this game. Majorly disappointed in Civ VII. I'm not even sure if I'll try to get achievements in this game.

I don't own this game, but if you're going to post about hating it, you could at least provide actionable, constructive feedback instead of just saying you don't like it. How on earth is a company supposed to act on that? They don't have telepathy.

I did play Civilization 1... It was not better... So clown farmers also in here?
I did like Civ1, but it was different time and games were different.

I don't have to provide any feedback nor opinion that is 'actionable' and my opinion is constructive! The simple fact that I, among many seemingly, don't like this game as it is out of the box is quite constructive. Since the company in which you speak hasn't listened to their clients and have progressively gotten worse with their past few products I owe them nothing! It's not like they'll be able to fix this mess of a game. I already said the game is horrible in every way except for the graphics and that it runs smooth. It's the poorest game design I have ever seen! You name it it's not good in this game.

You have your right to disagree but to try to insult others for their opinion shows more about you than those you try to insult! The fact is, IMHO, Civ 1 was far superior to this mess of a game.

I mean you couldn't figure out if the game was for you by the tons of pre released vids and info? No wonder you think civ 1 is better...

Sorry Katie, but nobody owes you a thing! I stated what's not wrong with the game. Since you don't seem to understand what that means it means everything else is wrong with game. Too much so to list out specifics when I am not even writing a review. I stated my opinion! Deal with it!

So I preordered a game where there has been a long series of games where the games were actually playable and for the most part likable so I gave the developers my support and believed they'd turn out another quality game in that series. But I'm supposed to instead of the history the developers achieved on their own I'm supposed to go rely on a bunch of influencers whose opinions I rarely if ever agree with instead..... Sorry, I don' have the backwards logic of a liberal!

I don't condone nor do I support any gaming company giving games for free to said influencers who are often just fanboys who have bad ideas to begin with. That's not to mention that it takes the thrill out of experiencing a game for oneself as opposed to through somebody elses eyes. Maybe you like the influencers doing your thinking for you but I prefer to use my own mind, thank you!
