Could someone please post screenshots of what was installed on your computer? I am getting the feeling that not everything is being installed on my computer. Maybe not being unpacked correctly.

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VII

I can't find this either. I've had a good look! (on my PC and my sons which can play CIv 7)

Nope. I only see a folder for 6.

But it is there on my son's PC! I will test copying it over etc.

Ok no luck. I suspect it creates it normally when a game is successfully started.

The line in AppOptions.txt is,

;Disable AVX/AVX2 instructions completely in Wwise lib.
;DisableWwiseAVXInstructions 0

I tried changing this to 1 and 2, did nothing.

I believe so, however I don't think that's the cause. Copying those files from my son's working PC to mine did not help mine run.
