6 on a steep sale may be another option, but some of the systems and art really don't stand up to the standard of the franchise and could be off-putting.
Much of that is removed in this entry and it feels more in-line with games like Civ 5
unlike the previous civ games, this one throws everything at you all at once in the very first few turns without really explaining any of it
though my brother had a completely different experience, even though we were playing multiplayer in the same game
while I was buried in notifications and quests and events with pending decisions and endless assaults by babarians, literally nothing was going on in my brothers civ at all, he never even ended up being given any of those quest things by the game... and I still dont know why the game gave me so many of them...
I love Civ 6 the most, it's my favorite iteration. You can really play how you want and it's a complete game. Civ7 is not a sandbox. If you like to be told what to do and when, choose the last one. Almost no freedom of choice here.
if you've never played it, then it is worth checking out.
The complainers are complaining that it isn't as good as their all-time favourite games.
The game hit an all-time peak just now. 59,452 people are playing it.
That number will continue to climb because it hasn't officially released yet. It's in early access for 5 days.
It's a good game if you have a powerful computer and a lot of patience. It's like playing a complicated, 3D version of chess.
It's very slow. After 12 hours I'm still on my first game.
Haven't even hit the Modern Age yet.
