How do you destroy an independent city state?
Game spawned me surrounded by 3 hostile city states, I am able to attack them and move my units on top of their city but nothing happens, how can I get rid of those city states?

If you move your unit into one of them there should be a "disperse city" (maybe not exact wording)
dont see that option at all anywhere, nothing happens when I move a unit on top of the city, and the only options the unit has is to move or fortify

The "Disperse" button is 4 arrows in an "X" shape. It should be in the bottom bar.

Indeed. The unit on thr city tile has a new command option, do destroy that city.

yeah, i made that mistake too last night
Dispersing allows them to reappear after a short amount of turns I believe. So there's no real way to completely end their existence in the game?

yea, also unlike babarian camps in civ 6, the independent camps in 7 can respawn on tiles that are actively seen by units, meaning the only way to prevent one to respawn directly on your capital boarders is by spamming out settlements (as the camps can not spawn within 3 tiles of a town)
