Let’s call it a functional gap. Rather glaring, but these things happen.
On the other hand… These are our civilizations we’re taking about. Maybe we should remember where we left our armies? That’s what I tell myself, in these trying times.
Imagine that, someone playing a strategy game with actual strategy in mind. A rare breed.
I've played Civ VII some 200 hours by now, and I've had around 5 instances of not being able to find a particular unit (typically civilian). If the UI was a mess to read in terms of clarity, as it is in V and VI, I'd have to resort to unit list more often, but I can actually see the unit plates clearly in this game.
Unit list feature should definitely be in the game, but making that big of an issue about it tells more about the players than the game.
