Won't Run on Intel-based Macs?

It seems like Civ VII will not run on an intel based mac. Is anyone else having the same issue where you press play, then it won't even start?

My specs:

Processor: 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630
1536 MB
Memory: 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

I mean, it says right on the store page, that only M1 is minimum requirements capable of running it for mac. So, I would suspect that's likely due to an instruction set situation for macs on that front.

You might be able to get the same tech to run it with windows, but... you're using a mac, so you'd have to use whatever that program is for mac to run windows stuff at that point.

Maybe give that shot?

My specs:
Processor: 3.1 Ghz Intel Core I5
Graphics: Radeon Pro 575x 4GB
Memory: 8 GB 2667 Mhz DDR4
Is so old my computer to this game?
I cant play...

Have the same problem as well. It says when I open it, it's not supported on my mac
my specs are:
2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB
8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

Same issue here.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz, 40 GB RAM, Radeon Pro 580 with 8 GB.

It will work only in Windows 10 via bootcamp. Works on my 2019 Macbook Pro
