From there you can set Trackpad "As Mouse"
I found that option yesterday, but it made the game stop working for me. The only thing i could do was to move around an unusable mouse cursor on the screen. No buttons or anything else worked anymore. Was it me that did something wrong? 🤔
I realy hope that they will make the controller more user friendly. As it is now feals so clunky. I liked the steam deck controller for civ6 way better. It was not perfect though. A mix between them both maybe would be best.
The change witch would do the most from my point of view would be if they made the cursor smoother and stay relative to the camera. So if you scrolled around the map with the right joystick it would follow around with the screen. And the left joystick decide where on the screen the cursor is placed.
