Less Starting Leaders and Civs wtf
Why are you releasing a game sequel that has less starting leaders & civs than 4/ 5 or 6. Simultaneously having 6+ dlc on the way from now to September( LOL less than a year).
Switching civs makes the number feel even less.

Feels like we are getting a hollow base game just for company profit. Worse than paradox because they atleast fix their games and the ai works.

trashy practices

Quality over quantity. Each civ in this seems more carefully crafted and unique in both gameplay and asset wise compared to previous titles.

There different civs for different Ages.

Fixaris cut content to sell as DLCs... not a secret and not mystery.

(It cannot be more blatant than cutting the Modern Era out and putting THAT behind a paywall. Shameful.)

I'd rather have 16 civs that are very useful in each of their Ages, than 32 civs that are generically just like everyone else for 2/3 of a game.

It has literally the same number of leaders and civs as Civ VI did at launch.

i mean it looks like a simplified version of the civ 4 leader attributes with civ 5 leader powers added . could be cool

Though it seems they got rid of districts which is a huge W i gotta say.. any good civ player already specialized their cities before them.

i still feel the number of leaders / civs is too low for how many dlc are already planned.. just scummy

What leads you to believe the modern era is behind a paywall?

4 and 5 were about the same as well
They've decoupled laders and civs, so that means there are now far MORE civ builds available than there were in the past.

My bad.

But still less than 4 and 5.

They've tied the record for the most ever at launch.

If you watched their videos you would have known that.

Don't just make things up and spread lies.

I reailty its more.

6 cics with 6 leader means 36 combinations of different bonuses and units
Civ 6 had 19 nations at launch counting the preorder bonus. Civ 7 has 31 nations at launch counting the preorder bonus. Plus, since nations have TWO unique units and up to THREE unique pieces infrastructure (two buildings plus their combined district), there's far more unique doohickeys than in any previous Civ game.

It remains to be seen whether Civ 7 can hold its own, but "not enough content" is definitely not the issue holding it back even WITH early DLC.

Yep , Civkind has the least amount content and Civ's of any "Civ" game .

Dont be fooled by the con - You can only choose from 10 TEN civs to start a game .
Then of course 2 or three hours later your Civ dies you await 1000 years go by then you can re-roll another .
