so they wasted 300k on denuvo, but we cant play 5v5? wtf
you have one of the games with the most population in steam, and yet you still want every nickle with an anticrack thats gonna break performance in a game known for desyncs lmao

how about let us play with friends in groups of 8 or 10 with no desyncs, instead of focusing on pirates? lmao

for the love of god, let me play with more people online. 2025, current year.

Amen to that.

And the odd number of players is just unbelievable when you know that most praised formats in civ 6 are 3v3 and 4v4 teamers :(

In all fairness, you can't really play 5v5 in Civ6 either because of janky netcode causing desyncs, disconnections, and crashes every other turn.

exactly, instead of fixing that, they wasted time and money on denuvo.
there are already reviews telling how late game performance is trash.

theres an online fix in 6 (joining, leaving and rejoining) that lets you play with more players.

i bet this one is gonna work even worse, and with no option to play with more people lol

I play multiplayer civ6 almost every day and have no problems of this kind. Of course there ́s a desync, time to time, but nothing really important considering the lengh of a game

i have more than 600 hours in this game, never played alone.
it used to desync all the time, if you want more than 5 players it desyncs first turn.
then i learnt the online fix, and now it works properly, but without that its impossible.

but now this game has performance issues in sigleplayer in late game, im sure because of denuvo, so im sure its gonna work poorly multiplayer, specially considering they only let you play with 4 friends on release, with a max of 8 players "TBD".
everything points to a broken game.

I can see you're going to be one of those people who visits a forum for a game he doesn't like just to endlessly complain. Seriously, dude, there are thousands of other games on the market. I'm sure you could find something that you would enjoy instead of cluttering the forums with your negativity.
If they did not improve the netcode a 5vs5 will be the desync festival: on Civ 6 even a 3vs3 or 2vs2vs2 could be a nightmare. At last I hope we can play co op game vs AI with more than 8 civ in total.
