A little solo to discover the game the first days, then almost only multiplayer of course !
Solo only.
Solo. I very rarely play anything multiplayer.
Hotseat... Oh wait TT
Solo.

This game is played 90% solo.

That's a quote from the developers a few days ago.

It’s a shame, because the games are so much better in MP, but I totaly understand solo players. Games are very long and you just can’t play against random players safely. It really limitates mp.
Let’s hope that the new era division with shorter game sessions will allow more player to give it a try :)

Solo. Always solo. After a long day at work, generally the last thing I want to do is associate with more people.
I’ve only ever played previous releases solo. However, the new Age mechanic, which allows for shorter gameplay, might convince me to give multi a go at some point.

I will start out solo however planning on dabbing in multiplayer. Thank you for setting up the discord server.
Solo. .. in MP as soon as your winning the other players quit. I know the age mechanic might help but I'm not willing to waste the lobby time or play time to find out.

Solo mostly. Am interested in MP but would only play with people I know, not randoms. As everyone else has said, someone gets ahead or someone else has a bad start and they just leave.
Like always, I'll be playing with myself

You know, playing multiplayer doesn’t mandatory means playing with randoms in public lobbies. There ́s (un)official leagues, like CPL for exemple, where you ́ll find plenty of civ 6 (and a little civ 5) players with no quitters (or at least no quitters without consequences like bans) so you ́re pretty sure you can play good games with involved people.
