Also optimisation. Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 were about 75GB each when they released. Hitman: World of Assassination combined Hitman 1, 2, and 3 yet is 75GB itself.
Civ 7 might just be hella optimised. It shouldn't be the type of series to ask 40GB+ anyway. They're still board games.
You must be new to gaming.
This isn't Assassin's Creed: Shadows.
You're basically staring at a chess board for hundreds of hours.
Trust me, this is not a low effort game. It'll suck the life out of you.
You'll get more hours out of this beast than you will from the gorgeous-looking Assassin's Creed.
