This is till now my safe path to victory, last run I collected 17 artifacts. When you reach 15 you can build the World's Fair and secure the victory.
Nice, I did an economic victory last night with Confucious
I have 3 museums and researched hegemony. Some vase symbols tell me the following:
The ruins of this ancient continent can be explored by visiting a museum or university. (Or something like this) Does this mean that I have to build a museum on this continent? I think I need to watch a tutorial video on this, because I don't quite understand it.
**Update**
Ooooohhh thanks to Ursas video i got it;

The vase symbol are museums and universes. The exporer first needs to visit this places. Can be your building or the building from another player. It would be nice if there is a better explantation somewhere in the game. The culture leader text is not enough to unterstand in my opinion.
I guess i have to load now an old savegame. :D
Yes and no.
Multiple explorer don't give more than one artifact, but if the AI is extracting something, you can extract it too.
It also applies to artifacts that are being extracted by the player. As far as I see, so long as the site exists, anyone can use it unless they are at war.
One really cheap trick I've found is to beeline Hegemony, memorize the antiquity sites, and move your explorers there. The couple you get from overbuilding and suzerainship help a little. But this is something I at least have only figured out how to do reliably on lower difficulties since the first research event unlocks all sites for all players
In my experience, being at war makes no difference. The explorers can't be attacked and they can go anywhere on the map. Almost all my experience as been at the "Sovereign" and "Immortal" levels.
It's similar to a wonder, so if you started progress in one city, it can only be finished there, maybe?
