Comical, at best
You simply can't fight Civ on that hill without bringing something really unique. It's why I will say it right now Endless Legend 2 will do better than Humankind. Not because it's a known IP but because if you make anything 4X-ish on today's market you have to fight Civ where Civ doesn't tread.
I have never ever felt the need to post in the comments after getting a refund because I do not care about the future of that game or what the community has to say. Yet so many of you not only get a refund but seem to think it is necessary to voice your opinion.

Age Of Aether and to some degree Monuments can impact the late game a decent amount. Alchemy of course loses everything cool when you switch ages. They definitely can do a lot more with ages but were limited by budget.
Yea I've tried Ara, it's not too bad at all.
