At the moment, this is true.

LOADS @ our place have moved to Millennia™.

CiV 7 could be great with about a gazillion patches, but as for now, as is said elsewhere on these boards ' Civ 7 was the fastest refund I've ever done in my life'

I mean if you don't care about production values, then yes. But Civ 7 is a game targetting people who care about production values.
True, but MIll feels fluid compared to this a la momente

I did love Millennia, and it was much cheaper. Millennia with the 2 DLC was cheaper than base game Civ 7. It has a ton of micro though. If you enjoy that like me it is fun, but if you don't, eh.

It looks like I ke a early 2000's game but it's a solid gameplay loop

The only problem of Millenia is its atrocious combat system :/
But overall it’s a very good underrated game.

If they fixed the Influence on Goods not applying bug I would simply play Millennia forever. Wouldn't even sleep.

Comical, at best

My problem with Millennia is it looks really bad, like even bad for not focusing on production values bad. It looks like it came for the year 2000 in the worst way possible, but mostly it didn't go hard enough on its conceit. If you're going to have alt-ages don't make them one-and-done gimmicks, let it go OFF THE RAILS.

You simply can't fight Civ on that hill without bringing something really unique. It's why I will say it right now Endless Legend 2 will do better than Humankind. Not because it's a known IP but because if you make anything 4X-ish on today's market you have to fight Civ where Civ doesn't tread.

There is a lot to like about Millenia. I think Ara is a great game as well. I also like this one. It is a great time to be a gamer.

I have never ever felt the need to post in the comments after getting a refund because I do not care about the future of that game or what the community has to say. Yet so many of you not only get a refund but seem to think it is necessary to voice your opinion.

You are like that person who says your ex was the evil one and you are glad she is gone but all you do is keep talking about her.

Age Of Aether and to some degree Monuments can impact the late game a decent amount. Alchemy of course loses everything cool when you switch ages. They definitely can do a lot more with ages but were limited by budget.

Yea I've tried Ara, it's not too bad at all.
