You’re not blind it’s just not there. Honestly this one should’ve been there from the start.
Quick combat doesn't really make sense now, since they have the combat animations for the entire turn.

Quick movement would be cool.
It's pretty much basegame, isn't it? This game doesn't have the excessively long animations 5 and 6 had.

Units show travel time and can be mighty slow, but the movement is instanious. Click the tile where the unit is going and you can give a follow-up command straight away.

Fights are really quick and you can put in other combat orders that are executed near instaniously even when other units are fighting.

It could use some QoL but the speed seems perfect to me.

My friends hoplite broke the sound barrier shield slamming my scouts into the dirt. Pretty sure quick movement is just on by default in combat. Out of combat most units seems to move fast however the commanders do move quite slowly so that may be the only pain point so far that I have experienced with unit movements.
Waiting for your units to move is a drag, exactly the same reason I disliked Humankind, please bring back quick move/quick combat!

You don't need to wait though. Movement looks visually slow but mechanically it's instant. You can click the tile they're going to and give new orders from there.

It could probably use a lil' 'ghost' indicator or something though.
The animations are no longer tied to the turn, and they no longer have to resolve one after the other, they can all happen simultaneously.
Click to move/fight with one unit and move on, you don't need to wait until the animation is done resolving.
There is no need for it in this game...... figured that would be fairly obvious to someone playing the game.
What a bunch of single player only noobs thinking quick combat isnt a must for the game to work in Multiplayer. When you need to make 20+ clicks in 10 second during a war, animations are not only distracting and bad, they also cause visual bugs. It must be a feature and the fact that there is still no mod for that speaks volume about the game and its community

There's no mod because quick combat is in the base game.

What weird complaints anyway. V and VI had visual problems with their quick combat too, and V was so fast you couldn't even tell what just happened.
