Can't Play Civ 7 Multiplayer – 2K Account Verification is BROKEN, scammed for €70?!

I am BEYOND pissed right now. I bought Civ 7 for myself and my friend so we could play multiplayer together. We were both super hyped. We planned our whole evening around it. Guess what? We can’t play together. Why? Because 2K FORCES you to make an account with them just to access multiplayer, and then they force you to verify your email to finish setting it up.

Sounds simple, right? WRONG.

I've tried resending that damn email code at least 15 times, checked spam, trash, every folder imaginable and got NOTHING. My friend is having the exact same issue. No email. No code. No multiplayer. So now we’ve both spent €70 EACH on a game we can’t even play together because 2K’s account system is utter sh2t.

What the hell is the point of buying a game on Steam, a platform that ALREADY manages accounts, friends, and multiplayer — only to be blocked by this garbage mandatory 2K account that doesn't even work?

This is a total scam. €140 down the drain, and we’re stuck on the menu screen, staring at a “Verify your email” prompt that NEVER WORKS.

2K, if you’re reading this: FIX. YOUR. SYSTEM.
I didn’t pay this much just to get stonewalled by your broken backend. Either remove this 2K account requirement or fix your email servers.
