strategic view

is it true that Civ 7 will not have a strategic view?
If so, however good it is there may be no point in my buying it.

I always play Civ 6 in strategic view because with my poor eyesight the non-strategic view is just a blur.

But maybe they add it after a DLC or two. Or even through some patch for the base game.

I won't purchase unless it has a strategic view; I play for the "chess" match--graphical frills are empty calories during play...

I am sorry you won't be able to play this game. The developers have become so complacent and won't spend one extra dime to continue features that are important to long time Civ players such as hot seat play and the feature you need. They won't do that for us, but expect us to go out and pay to upgrade our equipment so we can buy a game. Like me, you just need to forget about spending big dollars on something you won't be able to play and enjoy. I've moved on and removed this game from my wish list. All good things must come to an end.

Truee, theres plenty of things i find interesting, and i will definitely try the game one day, maybe years after release, but overall the game feels lazily done
