Same as Civ6. This works on Nitendo Switch hand cosole, just like Civ6 did, so the PC requirements also should be about the same.

Surprisingly high requirements. No way to cope with integrated gpu's anymore, you need at least a low end gaming rig for this.

It doesn't work on a potato nowadays :steammocking:

Buy yourself a powerful desktop with an i9, RTX 4090, 95GB RAM, and a SSD.

That way you won't be good for just this game. You'll be good for every single video game released in the next 3-4 years.

Ultra settings for Assassin's Creed: Shadows. Ultra settings for Civilization VII.

Stunning visuals and ultra smooth performance. Even if you get flanked.

Ask Santa for a 4k, 240Hz, 32-inch monitor to go with it and you'll be laughing.

At the console peasants.

MINIMUM:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Win 10 64 Bit
Processor: Intel i5-4690 / Intel i3-10100 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1050 / AMD RX 460 / Intel Arc A380
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 20 GB available space

I have i3, it's probably gonna run just fine, and only 20GB of space. I think it's fine.

I feel sorry for the people who buy this game and than complain about the graphic stuttering and the crashes. At first people try to help them and than slowly they will be ignored, because nobody dares to tell them to buy a better computer and give the old one away to a poor student for college.

I have dual 2k monitor setup, 3080ti and Intel i9. R7 9800x3d upgrade inbound next week. I have no worries. I came to check the specs for friends with not much power under the hood. They will need new hardware. I was hoping for lower specs, their pesky laptop gpu's are going to burn trying.

i3 likely enough. Gpu will be bottlenecking for many, especially on laptops. We'll see...

Anyway, I think my MAC M1 can run this too. If not, my Windows laptop is strong enough to run 1 and an other 1 on the background. It will keep me nice warm :steamhappy:

So I'm guessing my Lenovo Yoga "evo" Laptop will be out - I'm not a gamer, can someone confirm the inbuilt Intel Iris Xe Graphics will no longer suffice? Civ6 runs decent on an external 4k screen, such a shame if I'd need to get a bigger/heavier laptop :)

If you're hosting, and/or you're running AI, you're likely going to want to have the best CPU you can afford. Though if you can have a friend do the hosting for you, you'll probably get away with some real jank setups.

Those of you that are pretty heavy duty gamers and have - or have inbound - really great spec'd machines, mostly desktops, of course will be well and truly ok. But for many of us that don't play a lot of first person shooter or massive multiple person online games, and who's primary investment in PC tech is about work, have to balance things like portability and price and machine spec. I've just bought a shiny new Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga - pretty high end for a business laptop, current gen decent high-ish spec CPU, 32GB RAM and an Intel Iris Xe GPU - but guessing by the comments here it sounds like we aren't part of the constituency the developers are courting. I am not sure I get why such massive graphics with huge a huge FPS is really needed for a turn-based game, fairly often single person playing AI, and its disappointing to think that Civ 6 - which I agree with bussyboy DOES run great on my external 4K MSI monitor - is probably the version I, and many like us, will have to stick with.
