Modern Civilization Games: A path towards streamline and easy gameplay
As the title said.
Every since the 4th installment the devs have said, that they understood that the main audience of the series dislike to complicated gameplay and losing.

They stated back then, that they rigged the game on most difficulties to support the player in winning, because else the player would be frustrated and give up.

I really hope this new title might go away from all the overly streamline, simplicity in gameplay and rig to let players win no matter their choices.

What is your opinion? Do you like modern civ games? (the first 2 are my favourite, 3 was decent, the rest for me have been meh)
What do you expect from it? What do you want?

Remember to all be friendly and respectful to eachother.

Europa Universalis came with a great solution for this years ago:

When your nations falls, you get the option to play with the Nation that defeated you,

I want more diplomatic options, war conclave(where if my ally have a war, i may give him units, or part of my production - many times ai ask me to war a leader, who another continent. And what i may do? Cross a ocean 30 turns? War is over in this time...), morevoptions for game a pacifist way(how neutral Switzerland in example), and more economic options.
District in civ 6 - think, good idea, but very stupid realization. Where you see a city without school? Maybe districts more need for actions for city?

Not going to happen I think. It will most likely be more streamlined if anything.

Exactly there was a scenario included in Civ 4 that did this, too. During the game, a popup message would appear to ask if you wanted to change civilizations. The scenario was exactly created by a modder for the game. I believe it was called Rhye's and Fall of Civilization.

Yes, you are right my friend! It was Rhyes and Fall indeed!

Why would they change anything? People like to win "strategy" games to feel like they're smart, and happy people leave good reviews, which leads to more sales.
