Does the game use simultaneous turns, or classical turns?

Or the "true simultaneous turns" that Ara will have? Or something else?

Can you choose between them?

Civilization is traditionally a sequential turn game. Only in some multi-player forms did the game allow simultaneous or a hybrid form.

From what I have seen in the gameplay reveals, interviews and YT'ers that played, it's still very much a sequential turn game.

Yes, they have been classical, or sequential, turn based games in the past, but nowadays every strategy game seems to be simultaneous turns, to appease the mp crowd. If this is classical turn based, I for one will be happy.

If I remember the devs correctly there will be no option to switch between sequential or simultanous turns when the game releases.

pretty sure in the older games you could have it set to do all take turns at once before next turn cycles over or one at a time. I assuem they continue withthis method. as option 2 does offer more stability
