Ease of use was even true on tabletop in the past editions (not kept up with newer Necron rules).
AI is not really capable of playing with finesse. And 'crons are the easiest blunt instrument for it to swing with.
I cant think of a more forgiving faction in any strategy game ive ever played since i was born on planet earth. In fact a close second is Necrons in Dark crusade.

this games numbers dropped so low they dont even show on steam the count in the last week because critical asks and bugs havent been done.
