THOUGH you can actually take campaigns that others have made, right in the game. You don't have to go through a bunch of different ways to download and install campaigns, you can use their choices/loaders inside the game itself.
It's not developer single player capmaign, so you won't get that 'itch" BUT there are some realllllyyyyyy talented people out there that can literally change how a game is played... like all the "long wars" in xcom. :)
In the main menu if you click "user creations" it will open up the ability to download user made maps and campaigns, as well as a 3 part Tau skirmish map pack with a backstory that was made just before Black Lab handed stuff over to the new team.

WTF were they thinking releasing a game with no coop mp, no comp stomp, no 2v2, 3v3 4v4, no campaign for any of the dlc factions.
At least copy Soulstorm and maybe you would not fail so much.
You factoring in console players as well? GOG players, people who bought it off the Slitherine website, or any other 3rd party seller? Or are we just ignoring all those that so you can keep ree-ing?
The format is perfect for wh40k, imo.
Would love to see a campaign with the space wolves. Or the Raven guard.
This is great news. Can you say what the player faction will be?
