Is this possible that we will see real time mode some time?

At a guess? A hard no on that one. The mechanics don't translate well. You're better off getting Dawn of War 1 or 2 for that. It's .. surprisingly good, even today.

Since the existence of video games, I've never seen a turn based strategy game get turned into an RTS. Would be nice if someone would pick up the mantle for another WH40k RTS though.

This game has made me realize that while I thought I liked RTS, I really should have been playing TBS all along.

For me it feels more reliant on tactics and less reliant on how fast I can click.

As I've gotten older, I'v been steadily spending more time on TBS games over RTS or FPS. Fortunately in today's market, there is no shortage of amazing TBS games.

Coming from the tabletop world I totally dislike RTS,personally feels more a rush to click everywhere without organizing a real strategy.
I’m happy with games like Battlesector and wish to see more contents released for this fine installment in the future.

why would you want Battlesector to become RTS when there s still Dawn of War 2 around and has a healthy and active community (many times bigger than battlesectors)

Graphics ? DOW2 doesnt look any worse than Battlesector despite its age. If anything its better animated and some of the new models from modders have more detail too.

Content ? DOW2 has many times more faction/units/maps/everything as a base game and multiply that with all the amazing mods.

i dont get it.

.... but all things said i d gladly trade a RTS Battlesector for a turn-based DOW2 in a heartbeat.

I have always felt that way.

Maybe cuz DoW 2 is a hot pile of garbage. Now if we're talking Dow 1, that's a different story.

Also to OP, if you are looking for an RTS, WH40k Gladius is a TBS but it plays exactly like an RTS (base building, heroes, troop upgrades, destroying opponent bases etc.) It feels like a slow motion RTS more than anything and is currently the best WH40k game on the market.

My youtube channel is literally nothing but me playing TBS games. I used to be a big RTS nerd but my attitude changed as I got older. RTS/FPS just favours a younger, more aggressive, more twitch mindset if you ask me. Doesn't mean they aren't great games, I still love Starcraft and think it's one of the best RTS ever made.

But I enjoy the deep strategy that can only come from TBS. RTS is always, at it's heart, going to be about how much you can do at once more than what strategy you execute.
I also don't like fast RTS especially with base building. I prefer slower tactical RTS. 40k RTS of my dream is a mix of Battlefleet gothic armada, Steel division and Ultimate general

Weak argument... You do realize how many non turnbased games were converted zu turnbased tabletop?

Just it exist as one system (Turnbased) on another medium (Tabletop) doesn´t mean it can´t exist on another system (Shooter, RPG. RTS, TBS) on an different plattform (PC, Books, TV Series).

I would like a RTS adaption cause i like to see the units in action, for the TBS section i have the Tabletop to scratch that itch (and the long waiting time until the enemy have made thier turn...)

And yeah, i played and stil play DoW 1-3. But in only in DoW2 where Tyranids and i hated the small Maps and Armys...

Guys this is Battlesector not Down Of War.
What is the point in coming here and tell to the devs of this game that you want an RTS?
I think you can post such things in the DOW franchise sections.
This is a turn based strategy and me like many prefer this kind of slow and calculated type of game than hectic fast games.
