How authentic is it?
As a person who never played WH in tabletop miniature format decided to buy this game to come close to the most authentic WH40k experience. So my question is. How authentic is it? Are the rules exactly the same as tabletop and which edition? Are the rules tweaked for the digital format and how much did they change?

GW(the owners of WH franchise) prohibits copying the rules of the tabletop game. So no, it is not the same.

It depends on how strict you are on this point / care about the intricate details of W40k lore, versions etc.

This game in my opinion is the best PC gaming experience to replicate 40k, in terms of turn based, army builder go fight and have fun vs a friend

As a person who only played DOW 1, 2 and watched tons of lorevideos on YT i was starving for a real tabletop experience on a pc. Battlesector dominated on google search and i see why. I hope the devs dont abandon this and keep releasing factions and more campaigns. Also want to see a larger community for custom campaigns. Where are those guys btw. Only see 3-4 wellmade custom campaigns

This game is the closest you can get to tabletop 40k without user mods.
Full stop.
