Will the new mechanic also apply to the Space Marines?

So they are beta testing the Sisters of Battle and they say the Immolator will have a new mechanic where it can be used as a troop transport vehicle. Will that apply to the Predator tanks for the Blood Angels? Be interesting if you can transport a squad of Hellblasters or Intercessors.

The Predator is not a transport vehicle. Maybe we will see the Primaris Impulsor or something like that (atm Rhino makes no sense).

Oh yeah you're right. I forgot they don't have troop compartments anymore. They used to but got rid of it entirely to store more ammo. Be nice to see Cawl's vehicles in Battlesector.

I don't think such an expensive transport would be viable as a the only choice maybe if it came paired with a cheap on like the impulsor.

Honestly I'd love me some drop pods and devastator squads. But for BAs, typically you wouldn't care about transports so much, you'd go for assault, death company, vanguard vets, and sanguinary guard, all with jump packs. Since this game is so heavy focused on Primaris, we'd need Impulsors I think.

When? I played 40k for about 19 years and don't recall Preds having transport capacity.
