Yeah but they dont put a strong focus on them, Battlesector could be an opportunity to give them more attention and just make a story revolving around them. [/quote]
Eldars have had pretty good attention in the whole DoW franchise, devs may better focuse on drukhari for some novelty, which has also recently been updated as t'au empire for sure once they are.
I agree the Eldar badly need some love.
Tau would also be nice. Them being good in range and having no meele would make for a unique playtyle.
I really do hope this game does well, graphically it looks amazing, but it's so bare bones that I can't justify buying yet.
Err what ?
T'au empire have decent to good melee units with kroots, kroot hounds as krootox... Also they got good close range specialists with breacher team, especially if supported with gun/snipers drones and/or fire warriors, not to mention jumping stealth/crisis battlesuit units : who needs melee when you can jump in, melt enemies and jump out ..?
T'au empire is actually one of the army probably offering the most variety in tactics.
I mean, DoW Soulstorm nowadays got completely new factions the base game didn't have (like the Tyranids, AdMech or the Witch Hunters), but also tons of new units including Knights, Warhound Titans, and even Primarchs (Vulkan, Rogal Dorn...), and the Astra Militarum now has access to all variations of the Leman Russ...
Dawn of War Soulstorm, a game from 2008, is still the most complete 40k experience you can have.
Yes the Tau and Necrons would be cool. Like you say the ranged units of the Tau standing off utilising cover would get into some great firefights with the SM.
DLC's should be worshipped like the Omnissiah! Lets have Mechanicus too by the way...
Would be quite the opposite actually : sm having to take cover while trying to come closer with t'au fire warriors, which have superior range...
So one unit has superior range so what? These are not 1 unit battles.
Rofl... You blatantly don't know the t'au empire, so no need for bragging : the entire t'au army has the best range of all 40k, from infantry to tanks so many units have superior range than sm. T'au army is usually refered as the sniping army, you very new to 40k blatant sm lover.
