GIVE US A 3D CHRONO TRIGGER ALREADY!!

Square keeps putting out these BS "remastereds" of games we havent asked for yet we ve been screaming for a legit remake of Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG for so many years now and cant even get them on the snes online on the nintendo switch, company is so far out of touch with its playerbase its not even funny anymore

I been asking for this for years, and I never expected them to do it, let alone add cut content. If it was possible, I wouldn't mind them doing something similar with Xenogears. I don't care for full remakes of Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG personally. Though I wish the Switch Online games weren't exclusive to the service and also available on the eShop to buy for a few bucks each.

i wouldnt want a ff7 like remake no... that was just bad , but i d love a full next gen 3d remake or remaster so to speak of them that was word for word the originals. Not something like what SF just got. To me personally this looks far worse visually than the original pixel art sprites

I understand it can be hit or miss on the visuals, but I like them personally for SaGa Frontier remastered and are much better than what they did than the Final Fantasy ports. I just don't think full 3D remakes of Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG are needed and I rather they make their vast library of RPGs more readily available on modern platforms.

Maybe we should ask Valve to ban all the threads asking for a Chrono Trigger Remaster/Remake because we have reached a point where all of them look like spam.

First Chrono Trigger 3D exists, it's called Chrono Cross. Second Super Mario RPG is dependent on Nintendo too, if they don't want to, SQEX can't do anything. Third, you don't 3D Chrono Trigger. Fourth, know your classics WE want those remasters.

First , While Chrono Cross is yes a continuation to an extent of CT no its NOT a 3D CT , its simply your typical JRPG. It strayed way off track of what made Chrono Trigger the best snes rpg and one of the best rpgs in general of all time. Secondly, Super Mario RPG isnt dependent on Nintendo as Nintendo doesnt own the rights to it, Square does. The only thing that Nintendo owns the right to is the main cast like Mario , Peach, Bowser, Luigi , and the Toads. The Fact that Square allowed Geno to be used in the Allstars rpg , allowed the game in general to be released on the nintendo classic. Theres no reason why Square wouldnt have permission if even needed to begin with to remaster/remake the title as they own "ALL" rights to the Super Mario RPG title. 3rd , You more than 3D Chrono Trigger, look at the shut down remake CT64 that was being made and how crazy fans went over it and how upset the gaming community as a whole got when a C&D was issued. 4th, I think that one is simply just a matter of opinion. 5th No point in even debating it because no matter how much you love SF or any other old Square title, its just fact they pale in comparison to CT and SMRPG. I whole heartedly believe Square hasnt remade CT atleast because they KNOW it would destroy their baby "aka FF series" and its remakes in terms of popularity and sales.

Sadly Squeenix killed it in its infancy to re-re-re-release CT a billion times again without any noteworthy modification. Since that alone sells a lot every single time, dont expect them to put in the effort required for a 3D remake when they can just wrap again the old game and re-sell it on Android (like they did), Smartwatches and maybe Smart Fridges in the future.

It was a fan made game being designed for the N64

lol doesnt look that great? Visually speaking it was one of the best looking graphically in 2004(and the project in the video itself actually predates 2004) when Vanilla WoW, Doom 3 , Riddick Butchers Bay were considered some of the best looking games of that time.
