Stuck in solo offline

When I click on "connect online", the little connecting window pops up for a few seconds, then goes away and I am still solo offline. When I click on friends, it says "playing offline". Return to the main menu to connect and play online with friends. So, it seems even co-op is broken. I thought steams p2p was being used, I guess not. Anyone run into this issue and found a resolution? It's bad enough that we lost our progression, which I did in co-op and now have to do solo if I can't get co-op working.

I just checked my game. It is stuck in offline mode as well. I am assuming that any servers have been discontinued.

just tested myself it loaded me in offline mode but the moment i click on connect online it loaded me online within a 5 seconds so not sure what the problem could be for you guys but it is working

Yeah, I can confirm, it is working now. I guess they were having some server issues.

I'm facing this issue with no sign of it coming back online.

And again I guess. Just seems like the servers are unstable at this point.
