Question About Simon's Survival Guide Locations?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew the precise location of each of the guides, or if it effected the achievement for completing every neighborhood? I can't find any videos on them, and the one post I found regarding the location of the one located at the Pawn Shop in Basswood is completely gone from what I could see. I literally searched in and above the store for around an hour and found nothing. Any help would be appreciated. I have only found the one in Heritage Rock and I don't remember doing it, so I'm not even sure if they're collectable items like Grave Locks, or if they're readable items, or what.

Do you remember where you found any of them and if they are in like "this is a lore note object" or "this is a collectable, lootable object" format? Also, if they count towards the achievement for completing every neighborhood or not?
I agree with you on it being "odd." You can find a video for almost anything, even for a game that pretty much was dead for a year, but I've found a SINGLE post about them. Baffles me.

I actually found a second one in Old Town. When you're near it, it shows up on the HUD (dunno if I unlocked that via community or not). I'm wondering if they have spawn prerequisites.....cause I literally spent like an hour around the pawn shop and couldn't find that one, but they function as readables, but collectables, so they disappear when you get one.

For Basswood, the magazine is on a table above the pawn shop, for the founders, in a container that opens with 3 switches around it, for the church in a shed west of the bell tower, for acropol , in a garage with a motorcycle. then a gatehouse north of the old town. a magazine-shaped indicator appears on the screen when you're near rc

Thanks for the info! That may've been why I don't remember the Heritage Rock one, since I did that 3 lock puzzle within like the first hour of playing lol.
I think I can confirm that you HAVE TO find the magazines for the achievement, since I just completed all neighborhood quests and sidequests, as well as unlocking all safe houses and still didn't unlock the achievement.
edit: I think I screwed up. I apparently already had the commons achievement for completing all neighborhoods from when I first started playing, but never noticed. For some reason, thought the first zone was Burial Point, not commons.

I'm completely unable to find the Simon's collectable for Basswood (pawn shop). Nothing shows up on the HUD, I've ran over the roof and inside.
EDIT: Simon's in Basswood is not at the Pawn Shop. It is on the roof of the General Store, which is the building North-East ofthe Pawn Shop.

Only other one I have left for Commons is Sedgewick, which implies it is West of the chapel/steeple, but I can't find anything.
EDIT: Just got Sedgewick, it's a full two houses West of the steeple. A shed behind the house with the Bloodbag behind a locked door, with a UV light aimed at a Death Mist statue.

Has anyone found the on in Brighton Bay yet?

Edit:
Found it. It's in the attic of the garage of the first house when following the street towards south east from the big bridge. Searched the docks like a moron...

Old Town is in the gate guard house at the Yacht Club. Found that one yesterday. The Heritage Rock Guide is in the container yard on the west side of the Heritage Bay boundary. Took some creative jumping for that one.

The reason why there's no guide, even if the game is old, is that those collectible, along with all of the neighborhood missions, are part of the latest (hopefully not the last) patch, released less than a week ago...
Anyone found the Direcliff one? I tried every path into Bladewell Campgrounds and still have no idea which secret back way Simon's talking about.

Edit: Found it. It's in a boat near the Devil Mother's Range historical marker.

Here's the one in Shadetree Heights (the blue dot), the hint (viewable when you click the safehouse map) mentioned a motorcycle: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3261067826

Oh, and here's the Direcliffs one that people had trouble with, it's not really near any of the entrances to the Campground (which is what the hint says) so that's understandable. It's more near the western seawall, in fact it's on a ship: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3263217597

Eh, since I'm here. Winslow Field, in a little shed-like building. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3261067826

i found all at the first map, the pawn shop is not inside, watching the front door of the pawn shop is one or two build at left, in a balcony. I spend so much time to found that!
