Melee Combat and Staking Vampires

Why must a stake or knife be equipped to an assault rifle or shotgun to be used to kill a vampire? When using pistols the character has a free hand. They can use it to hold a knife with (and there are knifes that can be used for the Stake Launcher that can be picked up in the open-world). Not all weapons can be equipped with a knife, so if you stun a vamp you'd have to switch back to a weapon with a knife rather than just jam a stack through them as a melee option.

That will be cool, but i would make a slow version with knife and a faster version with a stake on a gun, ( just for make a difference )
