People just want to share their enjoyment of something that they enjoy despite its flaws. Usually they only become defensive when others attack them for that. Why do you so desperately want others to conform to your dislike and why is it so hard to understand that people are different?
I don't know if they are receiving the right message because trash like this keeps getting made.
There is a ray of hope though, when Uncle Phil comes out mere days after release and acknowledges the magnitude of the failure, it's a sign that this has lost a lot of money which is a good thing.
More trash devs and pubs need to go out of business like what happened with Forespoken. Hopefully, Ubisoft goes belly up too, that will really shake up the industry.
Imagine having like a trillion dollars for 20 years and not bothering to develop actually good franchises because whatever
You're literally desperately running around these threads covering for other shills and liars because people took issue with the objective problems with this game.
If all you can come up with it "omg let people like things!" then you are equally, in fact more so given how objective the issues are with this game rather than your claimed "subjectivity", shut down but "let people dislike things".
All they care about is profit and they're not making profit by continuing to do this. Hating on other players doesn't remedy a thing, but gets in the way of discussions on how to improve the game that dropped. I hate that the narrative right now is haters vs simps tbh. I just want to discuss where the game can be improved, even if others don't see the value in it.
The dev took far too long to develop the game but the publisher straight up deceived the public and didn't deliver on promises. Arkane made some poor decisions and didn't meet deadlines, while developing through Covid on a ♥♥♥♥ engine (UE4) that they were apparently learning on in the process, but the publishers presented the game as something it isn't. Forspoken was a very pretty piece of trash as far as I can tell. What was amazing to me about that one was that the devs had only ever made a DLC for FFXV, and suddenly they're releasing a $70 game. It was crazy and unprecedented.
Learn to have real conversation without all the paranoia thrown in. I've criticized the game plenty, so nothing you've just said carries any weight. In fact except for some saying the issues are a bit overblown, most of the people liking the game have said it has issues. I don't see many saying the game is a 9/10.
LMAO.
I don't go around criticizing the game in every thread like you do, but I even left a negative review at release and advised my friend not to buy it. I'd rather discuss the flaws and how to fix them, while acknowledging what I like than to go on some paranoid rant about simps.
There. Stop being shills, it hurts the cause.
This game won't turn a profit it will close in a month and none of who prepaid and activated keys will get a refund.
Its a good lesson in not pre ordering, we all had to learn that lesson sadly, we dont pre pay for games anymore. Harsh lesson when it involves a decent amount of money but a valuable one.
So many people don't understand this,
Indie devs are not 'too big to fail' they live and die on their latest release, he had no choice but to fix the game or his career was over.
