Maybe it's because they can code for one standard machine, whereas they cannot cater for every PC.
Wow, you got all defensive. Potato came with attitude too. Seems this is not the place for a simple conversation based on a genuine question. I play PC games too on Steam so you didn't need to feel like you had to defend anything by attacking the PS5 like you did.
Bro you can't even run Redfall on your PS5. Of course PC is better.
i use consoles too
I know, that's why i came to check it out on PC and it's getting trashed. That was the point of my question, yet everyone seems threatened by someone who owns a PS5. Well I own that and a PC and play on both, so you can all calm down and stop getting so defensive about protecting the PC. I like PCs too.
I wouldn't have asked the question if I already knew the answer, so no, it wasn't a joke.
I too own both (the kids own the PS5 in honesty) been pc gaming for around 30 years, my opinion is pc games have been declining in quality for about 15 years or so maybe more.
Most these days are just carbon copies of what ever's popular in what ever over hyped genre of the time.
Remakes of titles you've already got memories of because they've run out of creative ideas.
Rushed out in a shoddy state hoping to make enough money to finish the project but usually all forget to budget for crack & hookers.
Reduced in quality and size to capture that golden ticket of console sales.
Made by marketing companies who have no passion for the project, only care they have is what's the best lure for whale fishing.
Forced woke left wing ideologies
Because why would you add real life politics into the game about hunting vampires. It have its place in games focused around the real life problems. But nowadays it is nearly in any producs and it is so out of place and badly implemented. It is like they have to force it into it or else.....
Not all games fail, but some of the Triple A titles have been flopping, with such long wait times for releases, on top of Publisher's pushing a release rather than delaying the project when obviously it was a bad direction, on top of those who literally give up & abandon their project like this game
Personally, I bought it during the Steam Summer Sale 2024, I've been having fun with it, although I can't speak for everyone, I love open world games, I'm a solo casualist who m likes to explore & take their time, pretty much what the game allows me to do
Now I understand those that want a co-op experience & certain features to make it less boring, I understand that as well, but at least for me, it's fun
Just don't try to down play any specific platform, we're all gamers, if you don't have fun, give your due diligence & try to have fun in other games if it doesn't work out
For me, towards console, I disliked the limitations of console as well as controller only, low fps locks ect., while it may be changing, I'd still prefer PC as PC will always remain configurable to gaming standards, while a console is purely a box of hardware compacted with flaws over time that can happen with a full price tag on top of that if needing repaired or replaced
My Favorite Person on Steam, Just Don't Tell Anyone
Good Luck & Have Fun
The last newer games that I've found to be interesting are Cyberpunk 2077, Daemon X Machina, Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires. Beyond that, I haven't bought any new AAA games as of late, and haven't found any AAA games that I'm interested in. I did grab Redfall this year though, because I feel that it's worth a shot at the 30% discount that I paid for it. There's also Crime Boss Rockbay City, which I grabbed because of the actors that voiced the game.
Otherwise and as is, most of my game purchases these days have been Indie games.
