Im playing on gamepass,so far its not bad

Ok dont shoot me. So far the game has been fun for me but im only right at the first, past the fire station. Its running good on my 3090 and nvidia put out new drivers today, hope it helps with Star Wars Jedi S as well. Anyhow i like weird ♥♥♥♥♥ this feel like playing a horror movie so far. It may start to suck bad i dunno but right now im having fun.

yeah i had this free with my 4080, the Bite Back Edition and just played some of it, i think its decent, runs great too, have all epic settings on 5120x1440 and the fps is locked to 120, never drops.
dunno what the fuss is with people complaining about performance, and the games fun too :)

I was running perfectly well; I turned down some settings for my 3060 and the game is pretty AF still... I'm not disappointed so far. I haven't been staring at the performance, though, I just got it to a smooth FPS and then I've enjoyed gameplay since. I've only played for ~2 hours but that experience was fun.

Is everyone really upset about the performance or is it about the gameplay? Both?

I'm playing on Game Pass and it's really bad. While the trailers didn't look great, the actual game is way worse than even the trailers. First of all, I'm not bothered by the cartoony graphics. I don't need realism. That said, the graphics definitely have problems like missing textures and pop-in. Graphics aside, though, this game has fundamental issues that absolutely ruin it, namely the the absolutely horrendous controls that no amount of tweaking remedy, the pretty much nonexistent AI, and the boring, mostly empty world.

Redfall has absolutely nothing going for it. There's not one thing it excels at. It's not even a "sum of its parts" kinda game. Everything is mediocre to downright bad. That's my experience with both low expectations from the pre-release footage and the low cost of entry with Game Pass (by the way, charging $70 for this game feels scammy). This game didn't even meet or exceed my very low expectations.

What happened to Arkane? What happened to Microsoft's first-party? Matt Booty and Phil Spencer need to shape up or get replaced by competent leaders. As for Arkane, I guess Ralph's departure really hurt the company.

The AI was working in my game session playing from gamepass.

I feel like Dying Light 2 zombie AI is better.

runs pretty well but AI are bit stupid - Shoot at them and they just stare at you. hopefully patches will make it bit harder lol

The RTX 4080 is 0.31% of the market in PC gaming according to Steam Hardware Survey. You don't see what the fuss is with people complaining about performance when you are using a RTX 4080 to get 120FPS on a 9 year old game engine.
