Gamepass version is just as terrible a port it seems

10900, 3080, watercooled block, 32gb DDR4, Win10, etc, etc. I've made possibly 30 different resolutions and settings options changes. Rebooting the game after every one to make sure it "sticks". DLSS on and off. Reflex on and off. Settings from Epic to Low. Vsync on and off. Nothing helps. It's a hot stuttering mess. Massive amounts of texture pop-in and pop-out (haven't seen that in awhile). Framers going from 200 to 10. From 30 to 8. Def not an optimized launch for Nvidia users. AMD users seem to be fairing a bit better though.

I made the mistake of looking up any reviews in-between restarts. Gamespot already has given it a 4. An Arkane game. A 4. Let that sink in. One of their big "cons" was the massive amounts of bugs still in the game. The "big" releases of 2023 on PC are not going so well for these big dev houses. I think Squenix had the best one with RE4 remake so far. Others, not so good.

Well at least they didn't pay the reviewers unlike EA paying off PC reviewers.

that's unfortunate. I've watched a few vids of AMD users seemingly having a great time running it. Sorry, man.

Well, Gamespot dropped their review and it's a 4 right now. Games Radar is giving it a 2.5/5. PC Gamer's review in progress says, "it ain't good, folks". Polygon is saying, "It's Arkane, defanged".

Yeah, it's a bloodbath right now and I don't think any HUGE patch is gonna fix these issues with the gameplay, the AI or any of the other problems the game has right now. Who knows though? We've had some comeback stories these past few years and maybe Redfall will be among em. I hope so.
