That whole embargo thing does not help either.
I know it is like Bethesda acts but still I would like more companies to be like Capcom.
Never preorder any game. There's literally no point in doing so.
70 bucks for a game that doesnt look that deep?.. check.. extra pointless big edition for 100? check.. denuvo.. check.. needing another login with bethesda.. check.. no story progession for anyone outside the host.. yeah.. check.. huge ass review embargo that just hides the state of the game instead of them just releasing what it looks like fully and generating hype? oh big check.. lots of flags.. just wait for reviews on this one..
And hey, more power to you if you think you'll enjoy it. All I see is a game Arkane probably didn't want to make because it resembles nothing about their other games may that be on a design or ambition level. They essentially made a Ubisoft open world shooter and they don't want to admit it which is why the advertising has been so vague.
Still not very consumer friendly but not specially concerning as it happens with all their games
However, I am going to have to disagree with the shooting part (it looks far worse here in terms of enemy feedback, weapon SFX and the uniqueness of guns themselves when compared to Deathloop and it was already confirmed there's zero weapon customization) and while I do like the suburb setting that's rarely done in games, I'm too jaded about the open world aspect that it really does not feel like it's going to take advantage of what makes Arkane's level design work and we instead get some Ubisoft tier slop.
