That's probably the biggest mystery about this game. Why are the specs so high? It seems like the standard open world that's also sectioned off. The graphics are fine, more so on the stylized side, but it doesn't look like anything boundary pushing.
It's also strange that they're so high on PC, and yet they have to launch with 30 FPS on Xbox. All signs are pointing to something that is being pushed out the door before it was given time to be optimized sadly.
Everything I've seen about this game so far gives me no reason to believe this game needs hardware that decent to run it.
Is this game mining bit coin or something lmao.
And 100gb? what on earth does this game contain?
I'm comparing that to all the content in total warhammer 3.
In my mind Redfall is going to be like a 10 hour looty shooty move on deal
Anyway, no one is hiding anything from anyone. Those system specs are just speculation and not official. How convenient for your narrative that you don't mention that piece of information, right.
"Redfall's recommended specs have not been officially revealed yet, but the chunky requirements for the minimum settings gives us some clue as to what you might need to play Redfall on higher settings. We predict you'll need at least an Intel Core i9-9900K with an NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3070 to back it up, or equivalent. Additionally, the RAM requirements could soar all the way from 16GB to 24GB to play on the absolute highest settings, so affordable gaming rigs might want to look at expanding their RAM."

Those specs are just estimates made by a third party.
Also the console version is running at 30fps because it launches with the quality mode first, which runs on 4k resolution (and probably raytracing mode). It's really no indicator for how good or bad the game will run on a pc.
Right, the graphics levels don't line up with the specs they want. If this was gta 6 or maybe starfield, I could see such high specs being needed. However, the graphics look like they were pulled straight from Farcy 3/4, which is great... if this was 2014. Last I checked, it is 2023. Their minimum specs are the recommended specs for some games.
Regardless of how good their estimations are, they are still estimations and speculations. But You made it sound like that these are the official recommended specs and then accused the devs of "hiding" them, which is complete BS.
I suppose with the "3060ti equivalent machine" you mean the Xbox Series X? Which again is not true, the GPU equivalent of the Series X is a 3060 not the 3060TI. Now considering Redfall on Series X launches with Quality Mode which, again, is >>4K resolution<< then it's not a surprise that it's locked to 30fps since the 3060 is not a 4k card. Even the Series S manages to run it on 1440p resolution and this thing has a GPU equivalent of a GeForce GTX 1650. One could even argue that 1440p on a 1650 is damn impressive.
Yep it's quite obvious that they are still working on it, perhaps optimizing, that's why they haven't posted them yet. The specs are not final yet. Dead Island 2 also didn't post their official specs 5 days before release, so what now?
3060 to 3060ti is a 20-25% performance difference. 3060 to 3070 almost 50% difference.
You don't even have your facts straight, only thing you do is lie by spreading fake information and accuse people.
