There are valid criticisms to be made about this title, always online DRM, no cross progression, 30 fps lock for xboxers, late review embargos, ETC. but none of that means the game is going to be bad or lack quality. Is it a cause for concern? could it possibly be terrible? Absolutely. does it make me a piece for ♥♥♥♥ for buying the game? I reckon so but you know what? steam has this nifty little feature where you can refund a game for almost any reason within a two hour period. won't take me but an hour to figure out if it's for me or not.
In all fairness and honesty, stuff like this kind makes woke philosophy look like a joke. I mean, how could you take anybody like this seriously?

I for one appreciate people like this letting me know upfront. It makes it as clear who I need to stereotype and marginalize through incompatible personalities, under the modern definition of course.
Selective association is a human right after all, and as long as I hire the right "culture fit" people, there isn't a problem.

Wait what? Woke philosophy doesn't exist. The term woke has been repurposed to mean whatever conservatives don't like, there isn't much of a definition to it anymore. I don't know anyone in my LGBTQ groups that actually identifies as that.
Mind you videos like this go out to college campuses where they can find people with the least developed retorts so they can find as little push back as possible. Asking students who just graduated high school to defend their right to exist is just absurd and cowardly.
Anti-woke is not self identification, it's the opposite because it's used to hide what kind of anti you really are. People anti-PC where really just anti-being called out for racism, and during the gay panic they identified as concerned parents when they were really anti-gay people being out of the closet. It's pretty obvious what anti-woke people are actually 'anti' about.
Do you really believe that? Those "conservatives" over there or "progressives" over there taking sides, with some lurking and seeking to harm people, using left and right and twisted Nepolean era terminology of pro and anti-authority as jistification?
Woke was the slogan for a decade, and if you claim it doesn't exist, I'm okay with thay. For a lot of people, it's a general statement describing anyone who doesn't believe in equality and individualism, or selective racism as a means to an end.
You can navigate through complicated analysis, put mindsets into lanes, and lecture how individualism is harm and beliefs are static, however, truth is much simpler than that. There is no moral superiority here.
The wealth and powerful are deconstructing the world to build a new one. It's about resources, over-population, managing the offshoot of sustainable development. So when I hear a proud mother in the office talking about transitioning her son into a daughter, I am thankful in a way that that wasn't my generation.
It's really eye opening when you listen to credible people talking about the issies, and the sad part is that they are right. I don't cite nuts either... these people set policy and advise governments.

i personally thought dead island 2 would be woke too till they finally advertise more than 1 character to play and at least i get to play as a asian female.

I think the principals behind whatever people see as "woke" are admirable, inclusion for whatever sexual preference a person might have, their skin color, all abide strictly by common sense policies. The issue is that in practice, whenever someone is supposedly "woke", it's basically inclusion by exclusion and they'll start some racist rant against white people and then comes in the sexism vs men etc. If people would profess what they would preach being "woke" wouldn't be considered a negative, why would it.
Obviously you'll have bad apples everywhere, especially since conservatives are quick to jump on this "anti woke" train, but when the same people who profess inclusivity turn out to be racists, a lot of that message is lost and you lose a support in your attempted execution.
Like in warcraft, there's no strong males in the newest WOW expansion, I tried to say how I would like at least one person in the game that I too, could identify with, as understandably it also helped me enjoy the game, for the same reason why other people want representation. As a response to my question, the amount of racist and sexist remarks I received were astounding.
If it's one rule for you, and another for me, then you'll probably lose my support, for a message that I actually fully endorse as it's not right to treat people differently or have people left out.
