hard bullet doesnt work

whenever i open the game fpr steamvr mode, my hands are stuck and the controllers dont work. also my headset shows the first frame and treleports around the headset. when i open the game on quest mode, my headset shows a black screen, while my monitor shows a headless version of my character. ive ran this game before with no issues until now. im playing on a quest 2 using a cable to my pc. i also have a pc that can easily run the game.

whenever i open the game in steamvr mode my game is around 5-6 fps. i have a 4060, 32 gigs of ram and in intel i5-14400F. is there a way to change this?

i kind of fixed the issue by changing from steamvr openxr to meta openxr and vice versa. but the hands still dont work sometimes. just restart hard bullet in the quest mode then close the game and open in steamvr mode.
