What is your headset? If you have Oculus Quest, or Rift, we would advice to use Oculus Runtime instead of SteamVR.

When you launch the game, Steam asks you if you want to run it on SteamVR or Oculus Runtime. Or you can right click to the game -> Properties -> General -> Launch Options -> Oculus Runtime

Try selecting Oculus next time and let us know how it goes!

I did it, it didnt fix the issue. What fixed the issue somewhat was lowering my fps to 90 in virtual desktop, dont know why. But there is one other thing i need to say...


I don't like being negative, especially towards games that i purchased and i used to really enjoy but like what are you guys doing as developers? you add stuff but dont fix what's broken, like the hands spazzing out is a big one. Don't claim you dont know anything about it because i can go on the steam discussions rn and find posts about it.

You add these explosive barrels and stuff and now grenades and grenade launchers dont work?


back in the day this game didnt have these problems. I dont remember ever having problems of my hands freaking out. You just break the game and then dont fix it and add more ♥♥♥♥ to the game, which breaks even more stuff!

Nah I'm having the same issue. The game used to run great, but since an update or two ago it is virtually unplayable. Anytime anything tries to load or there is a physics interaction it drops to near 1 fps. No other game I play has this, and it was never a problem before, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I'm running a Core i7 10700k cpu with a 3080 and 32g of ram, and my headset is an index, so the hardware should be far from the issue. Also, to respond to the person who said "a million viruses" my PC is clean, or so says malware bytes, and the only other main program running at the same time is one tab of chrome playing music.

I just redownloaded the game and it runs fine in the lobby and on the first map on the ride mode but slowly gets slower and slower and becomes unplayable. I've tried it on the quest 3 and valve index, both run just as bad. My PC isn't the worst and i've moved the game to my SSD which did help a little bit but still dropped in frames and stuttered.
