Yes, he has 2 movement abilities, just One that works on air tho... And his R is pretty easy to cancel.

That... Has nothing to do with balancing, you could spend 100 hours to get good on Ymir and 100 hours to get good on Amaterasu. You would still have better results with Ama, she's just better as a character...

The current #1 and #2 in 1v1 play Ymir and not Ama. Maybe need to spend less time complaing and scapegoating and more time getting good.

And ymir appears 11 times in top 50 while ama appears 34 times. I played 4 hours today, only 2 matches not against her. This is the kind of stats you should be looking for.

In any PVP games, if a champ is strong or broken, most people will go for it. Best example is league of legend with champs being very popular when they are in S+ tier and when they fall to D tier, nobody play them anymore.

There are 59 Amaterasu players on the top 100 1v1, only 15 Ymir players. There are 3 Ymir players in the top 10, 7 Amaterasu players, again, Ama is just a better character... It's not about skill, it's about unbalanced characters, but I guess you like telling ppl to "git gud", don't you?

@YEAH RIGHT, you're actually using 1v1 to determine which champion is better in team-play when this game is definitely more team-centric? Lol. Yes Ama is a duelist, that's literally her character role. But Ymir is the most dominating presence even in just 2v2 imo. Ama is good at 1v1 and I think her team fighting is weak compared to other Gods, you're clearly not seeing things clearly through the bias you have against her.

I play Thor and have no issues with random Amas I meet, because you won't run into top 50 Amas every single match, your description of the very best means nothing in the average-day queues. I personally don't even think this game is balanced for 1v1, I feel it was added for the novelty, the feeling of competition where your character pick makes too much of the difference.

Why're we arguing about a 1v1 specialist character when the most likely case for tournaments is going to be either doubles or triples? Like, yeah, sure, she's dangerous in a one on one fight, but most esports scenes will try to emphasize the team modes, especially when most of the roster is kind of designed around their capacity to cooperate with one another in battle.
