It's much more of a tower defence and nobody is even sure how multiplayer will work.
I really did hope they will further upgrade it. Or maybe release SC3?
But like Mokinokaro said: I don't think you really can compare SC2 with Riftbreaker. In Riftbreaker you're control one Hero unit and base building is for defensive and logistical purpose only.
No barracks or such to train offensive units like in SC2.
But when you compared Mr. Riggs with Artanis I had to smile, interesting thought. Especially with 2 Swords :D
